TransPerfect to Participate in This Year's Sitges Film Festival with a Roundtable on Film Restoration

TransPerfect Media will present the roundtable titled 'How to Revive a Classic Movie in Today's Digital World: A Conversation with Christophe Gans' at the Sitges Festival on Tuesday, October 8, from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM. This event will discuss key aspects of film restoration, such as necessary steps, ethics in the process, and the comparison between film and digital archives. Participants include Jacques Barreau, Vice President of Media & Interactive Entertainment at TransPerfect Media; Benjamin Alimi, Director of Restoration and Post-Production at TransPerfect Media; Iolanda Ribas, Head of Restoration at the Conservation and Preservation unit of the Filmoteca de Catalunya; and Christophe Gans, a film director specializing in the horror and fantasy genres.
