Spherex CEO Teresa Phillips to Talk Generative AI at Fast Company Grill at SXSW
Austin, TX – March 8, 2023 – Teresa Phillips, CEO and Co-Founder of Spherex, will be speaking at the annual Fast Company Grill at SXSW this week. The four-day event will host thousands of attendees worldwide to a series of panels with business entrepreneurs and leaders, networking opportunities, sponsored parties, unique experiences, and more.
Alongside Van N. Truskett, Executive Director, Texas Innovation Center at the University of Texas at Austin; Jeff Cardenas, Co-founder and CEO, Apptronik; Phillips will speak on Fast Company Grill’s first panel of the day: Breaking Down Breakthrough Tech, moderated by Max Ufberg, Fast Company’s Senior Tech Editor. Advanced robotics, AI, and beyond have become so intertwined with our everyday lives—and innovate rapidly—that it’s hard to keep up with what’s in play and what’s at stake. This panel will discuss the tech driving our world and where it’s taking us.
As CEO and Co-Founder of Spherex, Phillips and her team help media and entertainment businesses adapt and deliver their film and television media to audiences worldwide through artificial intelligence and expert-in-the-loop machine learning. In 2021, Spherex was named Fast Company’s Next Big Thing in Tech for AI for its advanced technology in making streaming content more culturally appropriate for local audiences around the world.
Before Spherex, Phillips founded venture-backed startup, Graspr, and held executive positions at Yahoo! and Time Warner. She was named one of Variety’s Innovators to Watch in 2021 and one of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Top Women of Influence.
