IDC Launches 'FUNYC,' Their First Scripted Podcast

IDC launched their first scripted podcast, "FUNYC" this past Tuesday. Adapted from the novel of the same name by Emily Eden, the show follows the exploits of bubbly Brit Holly Hudson as she lands in New York City and sets out to chase her dreams in the Big Apple. Described by director Eric Wickstrom as an "audiobook on steroids," each episode features a full cast of actors and lavishly realized sound design by audio engineer Louis Fisher. Fisher's wealth of mixing experience sets “FUNYC” apart from the pack with its rich sonic landscapes, more akin to a movie or TV series than your average podcast.

The first three episodes are now streaming everywhere you download podcasts. New episodes will launch every Tuesday through May.
