Submission Guide to FilmFreeway

EGA has partnered with FilmFreeway for submission to the Hermes Awards for all categories except the Lifetime and Technical Achievement Awards. 

FilmFreeway is the world's #1 way to submit to film festivals and other contests. More than two million filmmakers, screenwriters and artists use FilmFreeway to submit to over 12,000 of the world’s best film festivals and contests including 170+ Oscar and BAFTA qualifying festivals.

To submit your entry for EGA’s Hermes Awards, follow these simple steps:

  1. Create an Account: Go to FilmFreeway and click "Sign Up" in the top right corner of the homepage.

  2. Create Your Project: While logged in, click "My Projects" and then "Add a Project." Fill out the required information and click "Save Project."

  3. Review Project Visibility: Set the visibility to "Festivals Only" so that only festivals you submit to can view your project details and project file.

  4. Submit Your Project:

  5. Provide Additional Information: Complete any additional information required for the Hermes Awards.

  6. Complete Checkout: Click "Add to Cart & Check Out." If you have a fee waiver code, enter it in the "Discount / Waiver Code" field during checkout.

Submission Guide to Technical and Lifetime Categories

Submissions for the Technical Achievement Category and Lifetime Achievement Category are separate from FilmFreeway. Please click each link below and fill out the form. Fee waiver codes for members can be applied in the dedicated promo code field. A payment link will be sent to the submitter's email address, and once paid your submission will be considered received. If a submission remains unpaid by the submission deadline it will not be considered.
