The entertainment industry has increasingly become a data informed business sector. This has largely been shaped by the streaming platforms and their very direct relationship to their subscribers. However, analytical insights on the impact of localization have remained largely unexplored. Working with multiple stakeholders, academic institutions and industry groups, the EGA will conduct ongoing research to gain a deeper understanding of the impact globalization has on entertainment content. By conducting consumer insight research, case studies, and creating consumer feedback tools, the EGA will become the leading resource for quantitative data in the globalization industry. Having great data that isn’t consumable provides little actionable value. The EGA will be regularly publishing our insights through various distribution channels to ensure they can be widely put into action by creatives that love telling stories. Leveraging the EGA’s data to understand where there are opportunities to better entertain their global audiences. By providing these narrowly focused areas of research, the EGA believes their work will become a valuable resource for anyone trying to entertain and delight global audiences.
